The Lab by Coffee Bean is a takeaway café in a converted shipping container at the front of the Coffee Bean Roasting House in Dubbo. It opened in May 2024 and pours coffee roasted on the same site, along with breakfast and house-made treats.

Where we test what we roast.
We wanted somewhere to serve our coffee straight to the people drinking it, and to hear what they think. The Lab started as an espresso bar at the roastery door, and that is still the idea.
It is where we pour our regular blends, try out new coffees and roast profiles, and get honest feedback across the counter. The coffee is roasted, tested and served by the same local team.
