Coffee Bean Roasting House started in Tamworth in the early 1990s. We roast about 20 tonnes of coffee a year in Dubbo and Tamworth, enough for more than a million cups through the cafés, offices and venues we supply.

Coffee Bean Roasting House opened in Tamworth in the early 1990s. From the start we didn’t just sell beans. We trained café staff and helped venues serve good coffee consistently, and those relationships built the business.
We now roast in Dubbo and Tamworth. Green coffee comes from growing regions including Ethiopia, Tanzania, Brazil, Indonesia, Colombia and Costa Rica, and we build our blends for how coffee is actually drunk: through milk, on busy café machines, in office kitchens and at home.
Today Coffee Bean supplies wholesale coffee, commercial machines and barista training to cafés and businesses, and sells beans online to home brewers.

Entries are scored by panels of industry judges. At the 2023 Royal Adelaide Coffee Awards we competed against more than 300 entries. Coffee Bean has also medalled at the Sydney Royal.

At the 2023 Royal Adelaide Coffee Awards, Coffee Bean won two golds (Espresso Imported Blend and Latte Single Origin, both 95/100), two silvers and a bronze. It has also won bronze medals at the 2023 Golden Bean Competition and the 2022 Melbourne Royal Coffee Competition, and has medalled at the Sydney Royal.
